Get Ready for the 2026 Welches Rainbow Run!
We are thrilled to announce our annual 2026 Welches Rainbow Run, taking place on Friday, September 25th, 2026! This colorful and fun-filled event brings together the entire Welches community to raise essential funds for Welches Schools through the Welches Parent Teacher Community Organization (WPTCO).
How It Works:
On the day of the event, students will show their school spirit and proudly represent their classes by wearing colors of the rainbow while running to raise money for important school programs and activities. Each student will have 30 minutes to complete as many laps as possible, with each lap contributing directly to our fundraising efforts for Welches Schools.
How You Can Help:
We invite parents, guardians, family, friends, and community members to join us in supporting our students! You can get involved by:
Making a flat donation in honor of a Welches student
Pledging per lap, where your donation is based on how many laps your student completes
Complete a Visitor Aware background check and email volunteer@welchesptco.org to sign up.
Donations can be made directly to students via cash or check, or conveniently online through this link. Please remember to include the student's name when donating by check, and make checks payable to "Welches PTCO."
Why It Matters:
Last year's Rainbow Run raised over $15,000 for Welches Schools, and we had an amazing time in the process! This unique fundraiser allows the WPTCO to transfer all proceeds (minus event costs) directly to Welches Schools for immediate use at their discretion. Every dollar raised supports programs and activities that make a difference for our students.

Doing a per-lap pledge? You can pay after the event! Your student will share their final lap count with you. Simply multiply their lap count by your pledged amount per lap and make the corresponding donation in your student’s name. Per-lap donations can be made online, by cash, or by check.
