As we plan for the 2026–2027 school year, the Welches Parent Teacher Community Organization (WPTCO) is taking a new approach to supporting our school. Rather than hosting our annual spring auction, we are spreading our fundraising efforts across the entire school year by inviting community partners to sponsor the events and programs families already know and love.

Over the past four years, thanks to the generosity of our community, the WPTCO has raised more than $130,000 for Welches Schools—and with continued support, we are on track to surpass $165,000 in total impact this next school year. These funds go directly back to our students, classrooms, and school community.

Like many organizations, we’re navigating rising costs, limited volunteer capacity, and families who are stretched thin. Hosting a large, single fundraising event requires significant time and resources, and this year we’ve chosen to pause our auction in favor of a more sustainable, inclusive approach.

Our solution is a year-long giving model that:

• Spreads support across the school year

• Focuses on events we already host for families

• Creates clear, meaningful sponsorship opportunities

• Reduces volunteer burnout while maximizing impact
